Junior Ui/UX Designer

Job Description

Infotech is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Ui/UX Designer to join our dynamic product and marketing teams. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are passionate about designing intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences and delivering engaging visual content. The ideal candidate supports the design process through user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing while collaborating closely with developers and business analysts. With guidance from senior designers, the Junior Ui/UX Designer contributes to maintaining design systems and ensuring brand consistency across various digital assets. This role emphasizes continuous learning and professional growth within a collaborative environment and requires a foundational understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual aesthetics. As part of Infotechs creative team, the Junior Ui/UX Designer creates and refines wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and personas to inform development and marketing efforts. The designer assists in generating interactive prototypes and mockups and participates actively in usability testing sessions to gather user feedback for iterative improvements. Additionally, the role involves producing engaging marketing materials and short product demo videos that effectively communicate product features and support brand messaging. Strong communication skills, proficiency in design and video editing tools, and a willingness to learn new techniques are essential to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
 

• Assist in creating wireframes, mockups, and basic interactive prototypes that align with user needs and project goals.
• Support the development of user flows, journey maps, and personas under the guidance of senior designers to enhance the understanding of user behavior.
• Help maintain and regularly update design systems and UI components to ensure consistency and efficiency throughout the design process.
• Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to facilitate smooth design handoff, including supplying assets and detailed specifications.
• Participate actively in usability testing sessions, gathering and applying user feedback to improve interface designs and optimize user experience.
• Manage and maintain UI libraries and basic documentation to support team accessibility and design continuity.
• Create concise and engaging product demo videos ranging from 30 to 90 seconds, highlighting key product features and functionalities.
• Design marketing assets such as banners, social media posts, and presentations in alignment with brand guidelines to support promotional campaigns.
• Record and annotate screen demos with captions and visual cues to demonstrate product usage and support training efforts.
• Ensure all design outputs consistently adhere to Infotechs brand identity and quality standards.
• Utilize design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator to produce high-quality visual and interactive content.
• Apply basic video editing skills using software like Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve to enhance product demo content.
• Communicate effectively with team members, demonstrating openness to feedback and a proactive approach to learning new skills and methodologies.
