We are looking for a Junior IT Administrator to manage all deployment and maintenance of company network infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of their network, servers and related services.

What you will be doing:

Deploying, configuring, and maintaining the network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
Managing and maintaining Linux and Windows environments, including system updates, security patches, and performance optimisation.
Managing and troubleshooting DNS setup, ensuring proper domain resolution and configuration both for internal and external domains.
Administering Google Emails, including user account management, email routing, and security.
Configuring and managing software and hardware firewalls (pf-sense & squid), ensuring network security and traffic filtering.
Managing layer-2 and layer-3 switches, routers, and access points, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Configuring and managing Radius server for secure network authentication.
Setting up and maintaining Hotspot servers for wireless network access management.
Implementing and maintaining cyber security measures, including intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and vulnerability scanning.
Collaborating with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve network and server-related issues.
Documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network and server administration.

What we are looking for:

5 years of proven experience as a Network and Server Administrator.
Experience with DNS setup and management.
In-depth knowledge of software and hardware firewalls.
Experience with layer 2 and layer 3 switches, routers, and access points.
Knowledge of cyber security best practices and emerging threats.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCSA) are a plus.
