IT Suppor Officer - Karachi

Job Summary:

The IT Officer is responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting IT issues, installing and configuring software, and ensuring the security of the network and data.

Education: BS IT / BS Computer Science / BE / Telecom.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of Experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION & SPECIFICATION

• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Help set up systems and resolve issues.
• Basic troubleshooting of system and network problems.
• Replace parts as required.
• Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
• Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
• Test and evaluate new technologies.
• Install, configure, repair and recover computer hardware operating systems and software.
• First line support for all desktop and laptop users.
• Routine server maintenance and monitoring.
• Visits for troubleshooting and resolving network and system-related issues.
• Installation and configuration of cameras, attendance biometric devices, and IP phones.
• A minimum work knowledge of electrician is essential for performing electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.

• Graduate (preferred Computer Science)
• Relevant diploma/courses
• Good communication skills (verbal & written)
• Min 2-year experience
• Windows Desktop OS
