Interior Designer

Job Overview

Surmawala is looking for a Full-Time creative and skilled Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of aesthetics, space planning, furniture placement, and modern interior trends, with the ability to turn concepts into attractive and practical spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative interior design concepts for residential and commercial spaces.
• Prepare 2D layouts, 3D designs, renders, and presentations.
• Plan furniture placement, lighting, colour schemes, materials, and décor.
• Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and preferences.
• Recommend suitable Surmawala furniture and décor according to the space and design concept.
• Conduct site visits, take measurements, and ensure design accuracy.
• Coordinate with sales, production, and installation teams.
• Keep up to date with modern furniture and interior design trends.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of space planning, colours, materials, and furniture layouts.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Previous interior/furniture industry experience will be preferred.
• Portfolio of previous design work is required.
