Hospital IT Manager

HOSPITAL IT Manager for the under-construction "Hasan Suleman Memorial Hospital" located on main National Highway in the Malir district of Karachi.

Key Responsibilities During Construction and Installation Phase ( present to December 2026)

• Supervise all IT infrastructure installation:
• Network cabling (fiber optic and CAT6/CAT6A)
• Server room and data center setup
• Wi-Fi infrastructure
• Telephone and communication systems
• CCTV and security systems
• Access control and attendance systems
• Audio-visual and conference room systems
• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and equipment vendors.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards and cybersecurity requirements.
• Oversee procurement of hardware, software, and networking equipment.
• Supervise installation of:
• Hospital Information System (HIS)
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• PACS/RIS for radiology
• Laboratory Information System (LIS)
• Pharmacy Management System
• Financial and HR systems

Responsibilities After Hospital Opening (December 2026 onwards....)

• Manage daily IT operations.
• Lead IT support and helpdesk teams.
• Maintain cybersecurity and data backup systems.
• Ensure uptime of all clinical and administrative systems.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Manage vendor relationships and software contracts.
• Plan future technology upgrades and digital transformation initiatives.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or IT.
• 7–10+ years of IT experience.
• Experience implementing hospital information systems.
• Knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, servers, cloud systems, and healthcare technologies.
• Certifications such as:
• PMP (Project Management)
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP
• Microsoft Azure/AWS certifications
• Healthcare IT certifications (preferred)
