Head of Enterprise Risk Management

The Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) at one of the leading commercial bank establishes, implements, and oversees processes for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks at the enterprise level. This senior leadership role ensures the implementation of IFRS 9 and Basel frameworks.

Responsibilities

Grade: Band-4 to Band-2 (SVP to EVP)

Location: Lahore/Karachi

Major Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and automation of risk models related to IFRS9, credit and market risk, ICAAP, and capital/recovery plans.
• Ensure timely and accurate calculation of ECL and BASEL returns on a periodic basis based on BMA, asset classification, and balance sheet composition.
• Perform tasks related to the Treasury Middle Office, including collecting market, liquidity, country, and FX risk data, developing risk appetite limits, and monitoring treasury affairs.
• Oversee Operational Risk Management activities, including reviewing ORAPs, Business Continuity Plans (BCP), RCSA, KRIs, ML/TF/PF risk, and developing operational risk heat maps and dashboards.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's degree from an HEC recognized institution.

Experience: Minimum 12 years of banking experience with 3 years in a similar role.
