Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper product display, facing, and availability in the frozen section.
• Place timely orders with local vendors to maintain required stock levels.
• Keep shelves, freezers, and display areas clean, neat, and organized.
• Monitor product expiry dates and provide advance intimation regarding near-expiry products.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) principles for all stock handling.
• Ensure accurate price tags, MRDs, barcodes, and product labeling.
• Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness within the assigned work area.
• Promptly report any chiller or freezer maintenance issues to the concerned department.
• Identify and report inventory shortages without delay.
• Communicate effectively through official group channels for smooth coordination.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product-related queries.
• Ensure applicable discounts and promotions are updated and applied to products on time.
• Minimize dispatch and picking errors through careful product checking.
• Visit the warehouse at least once a week for stock coordination and follow-up.
• Ensure excess stock is transferred or moved on time to prevent wastage, expiry, or storage blockage.
• Assist in monthly stock audits and physical inventory verification.
• Perform other duties related to frozen section operations as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum Intermediate qualification preferred.
• Previous experience in retail, supermarket, grocery, or frozen food operations will be preferred.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock handling.
• Understanding of FIFO, product expiry, labeling, and stock rotation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Customer-oriented attitude with a professional and responsible approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to identify stock discrepancies.
• Willingness to work according to the assigned roster and retail operating hours.

Location: Defence & Bahadurabad

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
