Position: Female Medical Officer (MBBS)

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and clinically competent Female Medical Officer to join our primary healthcare team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary medical care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counselling, preventive care, and appropriate referrals, in accordance with approved clinical protocols and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnose acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications safely and responsibly according to clinical guidelines.
• Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic investigations.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient medical records.
• Provide patient education and counselling on disease prevention, maternal health, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Participate in immunization and preventive healthcare programs.
• Identify cases requiring specialist consultation or referral to higher-level facilities.
• Work effectively with nursing, pharmacy, and support staff.
• Follow organizational clinical protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.
• Stay updated with current medical guidelines, best practices, and developments in healthcare.

Requirements

Qualification:

• MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
• Valid PMDC License/Registration.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of post-house-job clinical experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably within a healthcare/primary healthcare setup.

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a community-based healthcare environment.
• Strong commitment to ethical and quality medical practice.
