Ecommerce - Shopify SEO Specialist (Leather Jackets)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Shopify SEO Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in the Leather Jackets / Apparel industry.

Leather Jackets industry experience is mandatory. Candidates with general SEO or Shopify experience but without relevant leather jackets experience will not be considered.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience growing organic traffic, rankings and sales for Shopify stores selling leather jackets or related apparel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute SEO strategies for Shopify leather jacket stores.
• Conduct keyword research specifically for leather jackets, leather apparel and related products.
• Perform competitor and market analysis.
• Optimize Shopify product pages, collection pages and category pages.
• Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, image alt text and product content.
• Identify high-value commercial and transactional keywords.
• Improve internal linking and Shopify site architecture.
• Conduct technical SEO audits and resolve indexing, canonical, sitemap, redirect and duplicate-content issues.
• Monitor Google Search Console and Google Analytics/GA4.
• Analyze keyword rankings, organic traffic, CTR and conversions.
• Conduct competitor backlink and content-gap analysis.
• Develop and implement ethical link-building strategies.
• Create SEO content strategies for product, collection and blog pages.
• Work with content writers to produce SEO-optimized content.
• Identify opportunities to improve organic revenue and conversions.
• Regularly report SEO performance and recommend specific actions for growth.
• Keep up with Google algorithm updates and changes in Shopify SEO.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO experience in the Leather Jackets / Apparel industry.
• Proven experience with Shopify SEO.
• Strong knowledge of On-Page, Technical and Off-Page SEO.
• Strong keyword research and competitor analysis skills.
• Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics/GA4.
• Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce SEO.
• Experience optimizing product and collection pages.
• Good understanding of technical SEO, indexing, canonical tags, redirects and structured data.
• Ability to analyze SEO data and turn it into actionable strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with leather jacket brands targeting the US, UK, Canada or Australia.
• Experience with large Shopify product catalogs.
• Proven success in increasing organic traffic and sales.
• Knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML and basic CSS.
• Experience with Google Merchant Center.
• Understanding of search intent and conversion-focused SEO.
• Knowledge of current AI search / AEO / GEO trends.

Pay: Up to Rs100,000.00 per month
