Job Description

The Deputy Manager of Financial Planning & Budgeting plays a crucial role in supporting the financial objectives of Imtiaz Group (SMC Pvt.) Ltd. This position requires a deep understanding of financial analysis, budget management, and forecasting to ensure the company's financial health and strategic planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing budget processes, analyzing financial trends, and making recommendations based on thorough variance analysis. Additionally, this role involves managing a team of 4 professionals, guiding them towards achieving departmental goals and ensuring effective financial planning and reporting practices are implemented. The Deputy Manager collaborates with various stakeholders to promote effective communication and enhance financial performance across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and manage annual budgets in alignment with the companys strategic objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support budget decisions and monitor ongoing performance against established targets.
• Implement and maintain budgeting processes and forecasting techniques to enhance planning accuracy.
• Facilitate monthly and quarterly variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to management.
• Oversee the teams execution of financial reporting related to budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and standards.
• Utilize SAP ERP and SAP S4HANA systems to generate reports and analyze financial data effectively.
• Mentor and lead a team of 4 finance professionals, fostering professional development and ensuring high performance.
• Collaborate with departmental heads to consolidate and integrate budget inputs, ensuring cross-departmental alignment.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management, illustrating budgeting outcomes and financial performance metrics.
• Monitor operational and capital spending against the budget, providing insights and guidance on necessary adjustments.
