Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure to devise and effectively execute Sales Strategies in collaboration with respective Trades, the Commercial Team and relevant Stakeholders & Departments.
  • Have thorough Knowledge of the Sea Export market
  • Ensure optimum fulfilment of Vessel Allocations with the most profitable cargo mix.
  • Analyze Market Trends, Develop Business Plans and ensure comprehensive Market Coverage for achievement of Sales Targets.
  • Effectively Manage, Coach & Mentor the Sales Department for continual improvement & enrichment of the Team’s Skillset, Client Management & Personal Development.
  • Oversee & Ensure Timely and Effective Recovery of Overdue Payments and Settlements from Clients.
  • Oversee and ensure the Sales Pipeline and Sales Plans are timely and efficiently updated in the Customer Relationship Management Tool, and the Data Quality is impeccable.
  • Proactively & constructively provide feedback to Management for continual improvement of business processes and suggest implementation of Strategies for the profitable growth of Organization.
  • Oversee that SOPs are followed, and due diligence is done when targeting specific commodities and clients to avoid unnecessary risks for MSC’s Assets.
  • Effectively Promote Value Added Services to increase and diversify Revenue Streams.
  • Periodically review Competitors’ Tariffs, identify areas and opportunities to increase Local Charges or suggest for implementation of new charges to increase Revenue.
  • Ensure to have Weekly & Monthly Performance Reviews with Sales Team to measure Individual & Overall Team Performance against Targets.
  • Provide Timely Market Intelligence to Trade & Relevant Stakeholders about the latest Market Developments to ensure timely & effective decisions are taken by the respective Departments.


 

KSA & Skill Requirement:

  • Business Acumen and Analytical Skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office & Power BI.
  • Customer Focused & Solution Oriented.
  • Having a high Emotional Quotient and Great Interpersonal Skills.
  • Having rich Knowledge of Shipping & Logistics.
  • Having Excellent Negotiation Skills.


 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Promote Bio-Fuel Solutions.
  • Change ambassador for Digitalization


 

Education & Qualification:

Masters from a reputable Business Institute.

Required experience 6 - 9 years of relevant shipping industry
