EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is seeking a skilled Assistant Manager Oracle Developer with at least three years of experience in Oracle database management and development. This role requires a strong foundation in Oracle Forms and Reports, along with advanced data analysis and Microsoft Excel skills. The ideal candidate holds a graduation degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and is capable of efficiently handling forms processing, report generation, and database management tasks. While this position does not involve managing a team, it requires working collaboratively with various departments to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data-driven applications and reports that support critical business functions. Attention to detail and the ability to analyze and interpret complex data are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
 

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle Forms and Reports applications to meet the business requirements of EFU Life Assurance Ltd.
  • Manage the Oracle database environment with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and secure data handling.
  • Perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel and Oracle tools to generate actionable insights for business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and implement effective Oracle-based systems.
  • Create detailed reports and documentation to support business processes and ensure transparency of data workflows.
  • Optimize forms processing and report generation techniques to improve system efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle applications and databases promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices in database management and software development.
  • Assist in testing new applications and updates to guarantee functionality and performance standards are met.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Oracle technologies and data analysis tools to recommend improvements.
