QUALIFICATION

Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or a related field.

MINIMUM RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

5–8 years of experience in denim finishing.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager Denim Finishing to join our team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage day-to-day operations of the denim finishing department.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
• Optimize machine efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization.
• Lead process improvements to reduce defects and production costs.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Planning, and Maintenance departments.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Monitor KPIs including efficiency, rework, downtime, and on-time delivery.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of finishing processes including Singeing, Desizing, Stenter, Sanforizing, Skewing, Coating, Overdye, Pad Steam/Pad Batch, and Finishing Chemicals.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement will be an advantage.
