Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Intern will support the design, development, and testing of AI and data-driven solutions in close collaboration with senior engineers and data scientists. Day-to-day tasks include exploring datasets, building and evaluating machine learning models, creating prototypes, and documenting technical workflows and findings. The intern will assist in integrating AI components with IoT and automation systems, contribute to simple programming tasks, and help prepare reports or presentations on results. This is a contract role, based on-site at Invexal’s office in Karāchi, with hands-on exposure to real-world industrial and enterprise use cases.
Qualifications
 

• Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and related core concepts.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for problem-solving, experimentation, and interpreting data.
• Exposure to Data Science practices, including data preprocessing, basic statistics, and exploratory data analysis.
• Understanding of Machine Learning techniques and model evaluation, with interest in applying them to real-world challenges.
• Programming skills in languages commonly used for AI (such as Python), and familiarity with relevant libraries or frameworks.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Karāchi, communicate clearly, and follow structured development and documentation practices.
• Curiosity about AI, IoT, and automation, with a willingness to learn new tools, platforms, and methodologies.
