Role Description The Accountant Officer will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, preparing vouchers, maintaining ledgers, and supporting monthly and annual closing activities. The role will involve preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports, reconciling accounts, monitoring receivables and payables, and assisting with budgeting and cost tracking. The Accountant Officer will work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards, and to support internal and external audits. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Karachi, requiring regular collaboration with operations and management to provide accurate financial information and support decision-making.
Qualifications
 

• Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with the ability to manage general ledger entries and support financial planning.
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and related digital tools for data entry, reporting, and reconciliations.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and propose improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to work accurately under deadlines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Karachi.
• Experience in an industrial, equipment, or services-based organization is a plus.
